Accommodation has been secured at competitive rates at Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges, the conference venue, as well as a range of hotels and apartments within close proximity. We strongly suggest you book early as the special rates are only available until 14 September, 2024 or until sold out.
You will be given the opportunity to secure a reservation booking during the online conference registration process.

Esplanade Hotel Fremantle is the conference venue located right in the heart of Fremantle. Savour the culture and tradition of Fremantle, one of WA’s premier tourist destinations when staying with them. The hotel site has been established since 1850 and pays tribute to the rich history of the building, whilst incorporating references to Fremantle as an iconic port city.

With two double size beds these rooms are the perfect choice for sharing when a single bed just won’t do, or for the family who prefers to stay together. Rooms have a modern ensuite with all amenities for a comfortable stay.

Each room is presented with simple yet elegant décor, all amenities for a comfortable stay and a modern ensuite with complimentary personal amenities. The pool view rooms have a balcony overlooking one of two tropical swimming pools.

Hougoumont hotel

Ideally situated in lively Bannister Street Fremantle, the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the conference venue as well as the city’s famous Cappuccino Strip with its array of restaurants, cafes and boutiques. This boutique small room hotel has been purpose-built using innovative sea container construction to offer “that little something” you won’t get just anywhere. Each tastefully modern Cabin Room and State Room makes the most of every square inch, decked out thoughtfully with little luxuries you’ll actually use like a Nespresso coffee machine, boutique teas by Rubra, complimentary bottles of water, and luxury bathroom toiletries by Appelles Apothecary.

New Haus is Hougoumont Hotel's ‘modern brother hotel’ directly across the road from the Hougoumont and a 5 minute walk to the conference venue. Very different in style, New Haus is for those looking for more room or a simpler style. All their rooms have been recently refurbished including brand new king size beds, carpets, curtains, lighting and 43 inch smart TVs.
BREAKFAST: Tea and toast light continental breakfast included in rate from 7 am to 9.30 am (on Sunday from 7.30 am to 9.30 am) & Cheese and wine from 5 pm to 6 pm. WiFi is complimentary.
PARKING: $30 per night, small cars only.

New Haus Room - $279 p/n
These entry level room (22 sqm) are elevated with their usual attention to hotel details. Fully refurbished. A great secluded spot to rest and recharge while staying in the heart of Fremantle.

InHouse Event Solutions have negotiated special rates for those attending the ALA National Conference at Quest Fremantle but will not be managing accommodation bookings. When you click on the link below to access the special rates you will be taken to the Quest Fremantle website and will book directly with them. Any changes, cancellations will need to be made with Quest Fremantle and not InHouse Event Solutions.

InHouse Event Solutions has been appointed as the official accommodation booking agent for the ALA NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2024. A valid credit card is required to secure your booking when selecting accommodation in the ALA registration portal, but will not be charged immediately. Payment for accommodation is separate to the conference payment and will be charged by the Hotel and not ALA or InHouse Event Solutions. Free accommodation cancellation until COB Friday 13 September 2024. If you wish to cancel your accommodation inside the cancellation period, InHouse Event Solutions will endeavour to sell the room to another ALA delegate. However, if InHouse Event Solutions is unable to reallocate it, you will be subject to 100% of the accommodation rate. 'No-shows' will also be subject to 100% of the accommodation rate.
