Early career lawyers Queensland Conference one day pass – Friday 16 February

Meet other early career lawyers and learn from experienced practitioners at a one-day event designed specifically for those with less than five years’ experience working in plaintiff law.

For the first time, we are offering early career lawyers a one-day pass to Queensland Conference which covers a full day of relevant CPD and a ticket to our Conference dinner.

Join all Conference attendees for the morning plenary sessions. Hear three separate presentations from senior barristers addressing current issues in the law. Network over lunch with other like-minded professionals. After lunch early career lawyers will participate in a stream of three sessions specifically tailored to junior professionals.

Hear barrister Laura Neil explaining the fundamentals of navigating the pre-trial phase of personal injuries litigation, followed by senior lawyers Michelle James and Greg Spinda on what to do when things go wrong and finally Peta Miller outlining the difference between Comcare and Workcover Queensland.

For the last sessions of the afternoon, choose to focus on motor vehicle claims, workplace injury or public liability.

After a full day of learning, join us at our post conference dinner. You will be seated with other young practitioners and ALA committee members – an excellent opportunity to build your professional networks for the years to come.
